Hibiki 21 Year Old Mount Fuji Limited Edition is a Suntory blended whisky, made from aged Yamazaki and Hakushu malts combined with Chita grain whisky. It was matured in American oak, Spanish oak and Mizunara oak.
Suntory released this edition to mark Mount Fuji's addition to the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List in 2013. The 24-facet bottle carries a hand-painted image of the mountain by the artist Tsuguharu Foujita.
Sandalwood, honeycomb, caramelised nuts and ripe banana appear on the nose, with dried apricot, dark cherry and baking spice on the palate, and a long finish of incense and smoke.
