Hibiki 30 Year Old (70cl, 43%)

Hibiki 30 Year Old is a Japanese blended whisky from Suntory's blending house, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It combines malt whiskies from Yamazaki and Hakushu with grain whisky from Chita, each aged for at least 30 years. The whisky has a deep amber colour and comes in a 24-faceted decanter, a shape that represents the Japanese calendar. The nose has leather, prune, raisin and roasted chestnut, with hints of tropical fruit. The palate brings brown sugar, fig, apricot jam, strawberry compote, and spice from pain d'epices and cedarwood. The finish carries cinnamon and Mizunara oak.
