Hibiki 30 Years Old (70cl)

Hibiki 30 Years Old is a Japanese blended whisky from Suntory, made from Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distillery stocks. It is the highest age statement in the standard Hibiki range. The brand was created in 1989 to mark Suntory's 90th anniversary, and the name refers to the Japanese idea of resonance. The blend includes Mizunara Japanese oak casks, and it comes in a 700ml, 24-facet crystal bottle that represents the 24 seasons of the Japanese calendar. On the nose there is sandalwood, Mizunara incense, dried apricot, toffee and a little smoke. The palate offers rose, lychee, red berry, dark chocolate and clove. The finish is exceptionally long, with Mizunara spice and dried fruit.
