Hibiki 40 Year Old Kagami Crystal Decanter (70cl, 43%)

Hibiki 40 Year Old is a Japanese blended whisky from Suntory, made from five aged whiskies from across the Suntory distilleries. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It comes in a 30-faceted Kagami Crystal decanter decorated with maki-e lacquer, mother-of-pearl inlay and gold lacquer. The outer box is made from 12 varieties of Japanese wood, with 12 faces for the months of the year. The nose is mature oak, dried fruits and delicate florals. The palate has honeyed sweetness, sandalwood, subtle smoke and spice. The finish is smooth, balanced and long.
