Hibiki Harmony Japanese Whisky (75cl, 43%)

This is a Japanese blended whisky from Suntory's Hibiki range, bottled at 43% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It combines at least ten malt and grain whiskies from the Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distilleries, aged in five types of cask. American white oak malt whiskies form the base, with Mizunara and sherry cask malts and some smoky malts adding depth. Chita grain whisky completes the blend. The nose is rose, lychee, a hint of rosemary, mature woodiness and sandalwood. The palate is delicate and floral with lightly toasted grain, then toasted nuts, ending on coconut.
