Hibiki Japanese Harmony Limited Edition 2021 (75cl, 43%)

Hibiki Japanese Harmony Limited Edition 2021 is a Japanese blended whisky from the House of Suntory, bottled at 43% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It brings together malt and grain whiskies from the Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distilleries, at least ten in all, drawn from five cask types including American white oak, sherry casks and Mizunara oak. The 2021 edition is marked by its Ryusui-Hyakka bottle design, with painted blossoms of the twenty-four seasons laid over flowing ribbons of water. Like every Hibiki bottle, it has 24 facets, for the hours of the day and the 24 phases of the traditional Japanese lunar calendar. The nose is rose, lychee and a hint of rosemary with sandalwood. The palate is honeyed, with candied orange peel and white chocolate, and the finish is long and tender with a hint of Mizunara.
