High N' Wicked is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey distilled at New Riff in Kentucky. The mash bill is 91% rye and 9% malted barley, and the whiskey was aged for a minimum of 5 years in new American white oak barrels with a number 4 char and medium toast.
It is bottled at 49.1% ABV and is non-chill filtered. Distillation runs through a full copper path, using limestone-rich aquifer water.
The nose is described as Dutch apple pie, toasted brioche, ripe apple and pear, baking spices, brown butter and candied pecans. The palate adds cinnamon, shortbread and pipe tobacco, and the finish is clean, lingering and dry, with spice and sweet grain.
