A Midwinter Night's Dram Act 12, Scene 7 is a seasonal release from High West, a blend of rye whiskeys finished in Port barrels. It comes in a 750ml bottle at 49.3% ABV.
The rye forms the base, with vanilla, caramel and cinnamon, while the Port finish adds ripe plum, dried fruit and warming spice. The whiskey is full-bodied, with notes that recall holiday plum pudding, mulling spices and crème anglaise.
The finish is lingering and led by fruit.
