High West Bottled in Bond is a straight bourbon whiskey from Park City, Utah, bottled at 100 proof in a 75cl bottle.
It is made to the standards of the Bottled in Bond Act of 1897: one distiller, one distillery and a single distilling season, followed by at least four years in a federally bonded warehouse.
The nose brings Honeycrisp apple, golden raisins, zested kumquat, graham cracker crust, wildflower honey and malted milk chocolate, with toasted oak spice and honeycomb. The palate runs to peach and cherry cobbler, gingersnaps, roasted marshmallows, puffed wheat cereal, cocoa nibs, molasses, dried thyme and charred barrel staves.
