High West Bourbon is a blend of straight bourbon whiskeys, in a 1.75 litre bottle. The bourbons are aged for a minimum of two years in charred American white oak barrels, and the whiskey is never chill-filtered or carbon-treated.
It is described as aromatic, rich and earthy on the palate, with a balanced body that suits a Boulevardier or Manhattan as well as sipping neat.
The flavours run to candy corn, honey nougat, lemon zest and sweet cornbread biscuits, with caramel apple, pecan pie and vanilla lingering on the finish.
