High West Campfire is a blend of straight bourbon, straight rye and blended malt Scotch whisky, made by High West Distillery in Park City, Utah. It is bottled at 46% ABV with no age statement.
The bourbon and part of the rye come from MGP, alongside rye made in-house. The Scotch malt in the blend is peated and supplies the smoke, which sits as an accent rather than dominating.
On the nose are sweet corn, butterscotch, brown sugar and soft peat smoke. The palate offers vanilla, salted caramel, red berry compote and chai-like spices with orange zest. The finish is sweet and smoky, with cedar or tobacco.
