This is a cask strength straight bourbon from High West of Park City, Utah, in a 75cl bottle. It is a blend of straight bourbon whiskeys aged between 6 and 20 years.
The nose combines butter-poached green apples, candied Meyer lemons, honeyed cornbread, brioche toast, crushed walnuts, allspice, sarsaparilla and fresh hay. On the palate come sweet plantains with cinnamon, dried apricots, peach crumble, toffee, Earl Grey tea, nutmeg, rose, hickory and seasoned oak.
The finish brings kumquat, white chocolate and soft spice. It can be sipped neat or with a splash of water.
