High West Rendezvous Rye is a straight rye whiskey and the original product from High West. It is made with a high rye content in the mash bill, in the way rye whiskey used to be made.
The nose brings cinnamon stick, clove, vanilla, peppermint, caramelised sugar and dried fruit. On the palate it is very spicy, with cinnamon, crisp mint and fennel over caramel, molasses, vanilla, macaroon, cocoa and candied fruit. The finish is long, with strong rye spice, cinnamon, orange rind and vanilla.
