This is Highland Park 12 Year Old, a single malt from Orkney bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was matured mainly in European and American sherry-seasoned oak casks.
The nose has fresh ripe fruit, lemon zest, cinnamon and vanilla. On the palate, zesty citrus meets honeyed malt and toasted barley, with a whisper of peat and a smooth, rich texture. The finish is long and warming, with subtle pepper spice and a touch of sherried oak.
