Highland Park 12 Year Old Dumpy is an Orkney single malt in the classic dumpy bottle, at 40% ABV in 70cl. It was matured for over twelve years in sherry-seasoned oak casks, and combines peat smoke, sweetness and fruit.
The nose is ripe pear, green apple and dried apricot, with a hint of cinnamon and oak. On the palate there is juicy citrus, honeyed malt, toasted barley, light peat smoke and ginger, with a silky texture. The finish is long and warm, with peppery spice and sherry-soaked wood.
