Highland Park – 12 Years (70cl)

Highland Park 12 Years is a single malt from a distillery founded in 1798 on Scotland's Orkney islands. It is among the most remote distilleries in the world, and its exposed island setting is central to the whisky. The malt is traditionally floor-malted on stone, dried with aromatic Orcadian peat, and matured in carefully selected ex-sherry oak casks. The nose is fresh and clean, with flowers, citrus, honey, custard, spice and dried fruit, all wrapped in marked peat smoke. The palate is full, deep and coherent, and the lasting finish brings green tea and toasted notes.
