This is a Highland Park 13 Year Old from Orkney, made in collaboration with David Coulthard as Saltire Edition 2. The limited edition marks the racing legend's 13 Grand Prix wins and was matured for 13 years in sherry-seasoned oak and ex-bourbon casks. It was bottled in 2019 at 43% ABV, in a 70cl bottle, and supports local charities in Dumfries and Galloway.
The nose has caramelised mango, sun-ripened lemon and root ginger. On the palate come warm cinnamon, sweet tropical fruit and a creamy texture, before a finish of gentle smoke and sweet spice.
