This is a 13 year old Highland Park, the second Saltire edition made in partnership with the Scottish Formula 1 driver David Coulthard. The packaging takes its design from the Scottish flag and carries his signature. A percentage of the proceeds goes to local charities and communities in Dumfries and Galloway, where he grew up.
Released in 2019, it was made from almost equal parts of first-fill sherry-seasoned European oak, American oak and refill casks, with a small number of ex-bourbon casks. It is a single malt with caramelised mango, sun-kissed lemons, root ginger, silky vanilla and peat smoke, bottled at 43% ABV.
