Highland Park 15 Year Old is a single malt from the Orkney islands, matured mainly in European and American sherry casks. The sherry influence brings richness and roundness, alongside the lightly smoky character that marks the distillery's style.
The nose offers heather honey, crème brûlée and soft spices with delicate smoke. On the palate it is full and balanced, with vanilla, caramel, fresh fruit and a touch of citrus, while the peat stays subtle. The finish is long and soft, with toasted wood, honey and a fine haze of smoke.
