Highland Park 15 Year Old Fire Edition is a single malt from Orkney, bottled at 45.2% in a 70cl crimson glass decanter. The design draws on the Norse myth of Ragnarök.
The whisky is matured entirely in refill Port seasoned casks, which give it a colour likened to glowing flames.
The nose has red berries, dried figs, citrus peel, cinnamon and clove, with a little oak beneath. The palate brings dark chocolate, cherry jam and spiced vanilla, with light smoke and a silky texture. The finish is long, with warming cinnamon and fruity sweetness.
