Highland Park 15 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Orkney Islands, bottled at 44% in a 750ml bottle. The distillery has operated since 1798.
It is matured entirely in sherry-seasoned casks: first-fill American oak, first-fill European oak and refill. No bourbon barrels are used.
The nose combines crème brûlée, heather honey, cinnamon and fresh pineapple, with light peat smoke beneath. The palate moves from honey-glazed pineapple and vanilla to toasted cinnamon, citrus and dry sherry. The finish is medium, with vanilla, dry sherry and a touch of salt.
