This is a 17-year-old single malt from Highland Park on Orkney, bottled at 47.5% as part of the distillery's Between You and I collection. It was created by master whisky maker Marc Watson and inspired by Laila Gohar, an artist based in New York who was raised in Egypt.
The whisky spent 17 years in new American oak casks. It brings citrus and spice to Highland Park's signature character and draws on Gohar's memories of Cairo. The packaging is based on neo-Classical Greek sculptures.
The profile is built around orange blossom, leather and vanilla.
