Highland Park 18 Year Old is a single malt from the Highland Park distillery, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It won a Gold Medal at the 2005 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Sherry cask maturation shapes it, with peppery oak coming through in the mid palate. The spirit shows gentle heathery smoke, orchard fruits and coastal notes.
The nose has honey, soft autumn fruits and spice, with floral notes developing. On the palate, creamy citrus and honey meet barley sugar, toffee, peaches and cream, cherry and dark chocolate. The finish is long and smooth.
