Highland Park 18 Year Old is a single malt from the Orkney distillery, bottled at 43% in a 75cl bottle. It is drawn mainly from first-fill sherry-seasoned European oak casks, and the distillery's peat comes from Hobbister Moor.
The tasting notes begin with aromatic peat smoke alongside cherries, dark chocolate, toffee, marzipan and heather honey. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with dried fruit, honey, dark chocolate and spice, followed by a long, smooth finish with a warming smoky afterglow.
