Highland Park 18 Year Old is a single malt Scotch from the Islands region, aged for eighteen years and bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It has a rich sherry influence and a natural amber colour taken straight from the cask.
The nose is full of dried fruit such as raisins, figs and apricots, with honey, dark chocolate, warm spices and a little heather smoke. The palate is silky and full-bodied, with dark toffee, vanilla, cocoa and delicate peat smoke, then clove, ginger and black pepper. The finish is long and slightly smoky, with oak, spice, dark chocolate and a touch of sea salt.
