This is a Highland Park distilled in 2006 and bottled at 18 years old by Drám Mór, at 57.1% in a 70cl bottle. It comes from a single refill hogshead, which gave 292 bottles.
The nose is gently coastal, with straw, mild honey and a whiff of smoke. The palate is full and bold, with citrus, lemon sherbet, roasted ripe yellow pear and white pepper, plus a touch of smoke. The finish is long, and the hint of peat long associated with Highland Park shows at the very end.
