Highland Park 21 Year Old 2022 is a single malt from Orkney, in a 70cl bottle. It is made from malted barley worked with light, smoky peat and matured for 21 years in carefully selected oak casks, often ex-sherry.
The nose has honey, dried fruit and delicate spice, with a fine smokiness that stays in the background. On the palate it is soft, with peat smoke blending into vanilla and caramel, plus a slight salty touch. The finish is long and warm, moving from ripe fruit to light spice.
