Highland Park 25 Year Old 2022 Release is a single malt from Orkney, bottled by the distillery in 2022 at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was created from just twelve casks: five first-fill sherry European oak hogsheads, two first-fill sherry American oak casks and five virgin American oak hogsheads.
The nose opens with sweet coconut and violet over warm, woody spices. On the palate come lychee and Seville oranges, with hints of oak-smoked coconut and heathery peat. The finish is sweet and spicy, with aniseed, fresh rosemary and gentle, lingering peat smoke.
