Highland Park 25 Year Old (2023 Release) is a single malt made from 22 casks filled between 1995 and 1998, bottled at 46% ABV. Most of the casks are first-fill and sherry-seasoned: ten European oak hogsheads, two American oak hogsheads and four American oak butts. Five refill hogsheads and one refill butt complete the make-up. The nose brings honey-glazed unsalted peanuts, pencil shavings, white pepper and dark chocolate, with caramel pudding and honey cake after a while. The palate is medium-bodied, with peppery fudge, dried fruits, heather honey and a hint of wood smoke. The long finish ends on eucalyptus and mint.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
