This is a 28 year old Highland Park single malt, bottled by William Cadenhead's in its Authentic Collection. It was distilled in 1989 and bottled in spring 2018, after maturing in a bourbon hogshead. The release numbers 270 bottles.
The nose has slight maritime notes with lemon and vanilla. On the palate there is barbecue smoke with more lemon and a waxy texture throughout. Oak, tangerine peel and smoke linger through a long finish.
