Highland Park 30 Year Old 2019 Release is a single malt from Orkney, bottled in 2019 at 45.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
This limited release was vatted from fewer than 20 casks, all filled in 1989 or earlier. They were a mix of first-fill bourbon, first-fill sherry and refill casks.
The nose offers sweet vanilla and honey with a touch of sharp citrus. On the palate come layers of dried fruit and warm spice, with a light thread of peat smoke. The finish is long, balancing sweet and smoky notes.
