Highland Park – 30 Year Old

Highland Park 30 Year Old is a single malt from Orkney, made from casks that the distillery's master distiller laid down thirty years before it was bottled. The whisky is described as well balanced, with a gentle sweetness and very delicate smoke. Its three decades of maturing in the Orkney sea spray are credited with a mildly salty aftertaste. Flavours run to fudge sweetness, aromatic spices and dark chocolate orange. The finish is drying, with a soft smokiness.
