This is a Highland Park 44 year old Orkney single malt, distilled in 1952 and bottled in 1996 at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
David Robertson built Highland Park in 1798. Highland Distillers, linked to the blenders Robertson & Baxter, acquired it in 1937, and Edrington, which bought that company in 1999, runs it today. Distillery bottlings first appeared around the 1950s.
