Highland Park Cask Strength Heather is a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky from the Orkney distillery, bottled at 63.6% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is the Heather Edition within the Cask Strength series.
It is peated, but the smoke is the subtle, fragrant kind that comes from Orkney's heathered peat, with floral heather, gentle spice and sweet smoke running through it. The whisky is bottled without dilution.
Tasting notes describe a nose of fragrant heather, delicate floral notes and light smoke. The palate is full-bodied, with layers of spice, toasted oak and subtle honey sweetness. The finish is long and warming, gently smoky, with herbal undertones.
