Highland Park Cask Strength Heather is a limited edition single malt from Orkney, bottled at 63.6%. It is made from 100 per cent peat-smoked Orkney barley, intended to show the most powerful expression of Orkney heather peat.
It was matured in first fill European and American sherry-seasoned casks together with selected refill casks, and all of its colour comes from the cask rather than additives.
The notes include heathered peat, charred marshmallow, macadamia nuts, brandy butter and toasted oak.
