Highland Park Cask Strength Release No. 4 is an Orkney single malt bottled at 64.3% ABV and not chill filtered.
It was matured mainly in first-fill sherry-seasoned casks, both European oak and American oak, together with a smaller number of refill casks. Port casks were used for the first time in this release. It is among the smokiest Highland Park whiskies bottled to date.
The flavours are described as raspberry, strawberry, warm spices and raisins, with liquorice, aromatic peat and burnt coconut.
