This is the fourth release in Highland Park's cask strength series, a single malt from Orkney bottled in 2023 at 64.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is not chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The whisky is a vatting of casks of differing ages and character. Most of it matured in first fill sherry casks, both European and American oak, with a smaller share from refill casks and port casks. It is among the smokiest Highland Park whiskies to date.
The nose brings raspberry, strawberry, spice and raisins. On the palate come liquorice, peat smoke and charred coconut.
