This is a cask strength single malt from Highland Park, bottled at 63.3% ABV without filtration.
It was matured in American oak casks that had been seasoned with sherry. The casks were chosen and vatted by the distillery's whisky maker, Gordon Motion, and the whisky went into the bottle without being reduced in strength.
It is a robust malt, described as showing heather honey and gentle smoke, with a very long finish.
