Highland Park Harald is a single malt from Orkney, bottled in 2013 at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the Warrior Series and is named in honour of Harald Fairhair.
The nose brings ripe pear, dried apricot and a little vanilla, with a hint of nutmeg, ginger and sandalwood. On the palate there is honeyed malt, toasted almonds and gentle peat, and the finish is lingering, with hints of caramel.
