Loyalty of the Wolf is a single malt from Highland Park, in a 100cl bottle.
It pairs smoke with an underlying sweetness. The whisky is round and harmonious, with a medium to full body, where malty sweetness carries the structure and a light tannic spiciness adds liveliness.
On the nose there is discreet, smoky peat, then heather honey, ripe citrus and a little sweet spice, with a salty edge like sea air. The finish is pleasant, with smoky returns and a slightly herbal trail.
