Hillrock Solera Aged Bourbon is an American whiskey aged by the centuries-old solera method, traditionally used for sherry, port, Madeira and cognac. It is the first American whiskey aged this way.
The bourbon is finished in 20 year old Oloroso sherry casks. These give it floral notes layered with fig, roasted walnuts, candied fruit and spicy rye.
