Hinch – 12 Year Old Amarone Cask Finish (70cl, 46%)

Hinch 12 Year Old Amarone Cask Finish is an Irish whiskey in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. It spent eleven years in bourbon casks, then a further twelve months in Amarone casks from Italy, supplied by Masi. Hinch aims to pair the smoothness of classic Irish triple distillation with a fuller, stronger body. It is described as floral and fruity, with violet fruit, plums and elderberries, followed by sour cherries, red apples and ripe pears. Cinnamon spice, malt and dry red wine complete the picture.
