Hinch Ninth Wave Gin (70cl, 43%)

Ninth Wave is an Irish gin made at the Hinch Distillery, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is built on nine botanicals, among them lemon verbena, cardamom and orange peel, which give a balanced aroma of aromatic spice and citrus. The name comes from Irish mythology, where the ninth wave is the great wave that separates the earth from the Otherworld. The bottle is shaped like a wave to echo the idea. On the palate it is full-bodied with a soft mouthfeel, and it finishes with a gentle warmth.
