Hinch Small Batch Bourbon Cask (70cl, 43%)

Hinch Small Batch Bourbon Cask is an Irish blended whiskey at 43% ABV, sold in a 70cl bottle. It combines 25% single malt with 75% single grain, the grain made from a mix of cereals. The blend matures for three to four years in first-fill ex-bourbon casks. The distillery stands in County Down, long a meeting point of Irish and Scottish culture, and its founder set out to join the softness of Irish triple distillation with the boldness of Scottish whisky. No colouring is added. Toffee and liquorice show on the nose, with dried fruit and lemon on the palate. The finish is long, with a caramel undertone.
