This is a Grande Champagne cognac from Hine, distilled in 1981 and bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is an Early Landed cognac: it was landed in 1986 and bottled in 2001 by Christopher Piper Wines.
Hine was one of the first cognac houses to make vintage cognac available to drinkers around the world. At the beginning of the 19th century it began shipping cognac in cask to British connoisseurs.
