Hine Rare VSOP is a cognac blended from 25 eaux-de-vie. More than half of the grapes come from Grande Champagne, with the remainder from Petite Champagne, and the blend is aged in oak casks.
The nose combines ripe fruit, vine flowers and subtle spice. On the palate the texture is silky, with balanced flavours of vanilla, honey and dried fruit, and a delicate note of oak from the casks.
It can be taken neat, or with a drop of water to open up the more subtle aromas, and it also works in cocktails.
