Hirsch The Single Barrel is an American single barrel whiskey in a 750ml bottle, bottled at a strong 64% ABV. The mash bill is made up of corn, rye and malted barley.
The nose brings dried herbs and baking spice alongside milk chocolate, chocolate cake and brown sugar. On the palate it is full-bodied and warming, with black cherry soda sweetness and rich cocoa.
A splash of water softens the heat and brings out warm chocolate brownie and toasted marshmallow, followed by a long, spiced finish.
