Hogsworth is a blend of American bourbon and French Armagnac, bottled at 46.9% in a 750ml bottle. It is made up of 52% bourbon and 48% Armagnac, with an average age of about 9.3 years.
The bourbon was distilled in 2019 and is married with Armagnacs from the 1982, 2010 and 2012 vintages. The 1982 Armagnac makes up 5% of the blend.
Tasting notes describe honey, crème brûlée and baking spices on the nose, then caramel, dark cherry and chai spice on the palate. The finish is medium-long, with oak spice, orange marmalade and vanilla bean.
