Hooten Young 15 Year Old Barrel Proof is a limited-edition American whiskey, drawn from second fill charred American oak barrels.
It was released to mark the 28th anniversary of the Battle of Mogadishu, fought on 3 October 1993 during Operation Gothic Serpent, when US forces were ordered to capture the Somali warlord Mohammed Farah Aidid.
Hooten Young's president, Norm Hooten, a retired Delta Force master sergeant, helped lead the 18-hour mission, a story later retold in Black Hawk Down.
