Michter's – 1 Sour Mash (70cl)

Michter's 1 Sour Mash is an American whiskey in a 70cl bottle, named Whisky of the Year in 2019. Michter's was the first American distillery, established in 1753, and production was relaunched in the 1990s when two businessmen joined forces. The wood is air-dried rather than kiln-dried, and it is toasted before it is charred. The spirit goes into the cask at 51.5%, against the 62.5% common in the industry. It is made only as single barrel or small batch bottlings.
